A stunning vintage 0.32 carat ruby and 0.32 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow and white gold 'leaf' brooch; part of our diverse ruby jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive gold brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with 18k white gold settings. The brooch has been modelled in the form of stylised leaves. The midribs of the leaves are each set with 18k white gold four claw settings, the upper leaf displaying eight round cut rubies and the lower ornamented with seven eight-cut diamonds. The leaves have a textured, fluted design. The curvilinear design secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp. The brooch is hallmarked to the reverse with the maker's mark 'MG', the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18k gold mark (18), the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1958 (c).
