A breathtaking and highly unique tremblé pin from the Early Victorian (ca1850s) era! This magnificent piece is crafted in rosy 12kt yellow gold and features a bold crown and a floral motif. A handcrafted open wirework crown is attached at the base of the piece and accented by 9 glinting old Rose Cut diamonds. A coiled spring housed within an open frame beneath the crown supports the blooming flower tremblé in its 3-dimensional design, allowing the piece to "tremble" with light, fluttery movement when worn. Twelve sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds detail each flower petal and a large Rose Cut diamond resting in a dramatic belcher setting lifts at the flower's center, its sparkle further enhanced by the trembling coil as it catches the light. The foil-backed diamonds weigh an approximate total weight of 1.75ctw and the one-of-a-kind pin secures with a hinged pin and c-catch clasp at the back. An extraordinary Early Victorian piece, it would make a spectacular addition to any collection! The pin measures an overall 1 5/16" tall, crown and flower included. The crown measures about 1" wide and 3/4" tall. The flower measures about 7/8" in diameter and is about 5/16" deep. At rest, the flower sits approximately 7/8" from its gold base, not including the c-catch clasp.

Condition:

Wear consistent with age and use. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds are intact. The hinged pin and c-clasp are both secure and in good working condition. There is a normal, natural patina on the surface of the gold.
