Antique Edwardian Enamel 18 Karat Gold Chicken Lapel Pin
About the Item
This lovelyantique Edwardian chicken stickpin or lapel pin is beautifully crafted in enamel in a colorful hue of red, blue, grayish and 18 karat gold. The enamel glaze varies in color from deep red to blue-grey with a gold rim. The wings are beautifully detailed to resemble feathers. Each eye is rimmed with gold and the eye itself studded with black enamel. Her clucking open beak is made of gold.
The stick pin is in very good condition. We couldn't find any hallmarks or creator's mark on this jewel. The gold is tested as 18K. The pin measures 97 mm in length and weighs 12.45 grams.
The stick pin will be beautifully wrapped in a black and gold jewelry box.
