About the Item
An enamel and gold pheasant brooch, depicting the adult male ring-necked pheasant, the body is realistically carved and made in rose and yellow gold with an enamelled head, measuring 5.9 x 2.6cm , hallmarked for 18ct gold, London 2017, bearing the Bentley & Skinner sponsor mark, gross weight 20.05 grams.
A wonderfully detailed brooch in the form of a pheasant. The pheasant is rendered in yellow gold and rose gold, with intricately carved feathers. The bird’s head features skilful enamel in green, red, and white, with a yellow gold eye. This handsome brooch was made by Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would look handsome on the lapel of a tweed jacket.
