Important Trifari Alfred Phillippe Fruit Salad Bird Brooch
About the Item
Rare Trifari Alfred Phillippe massive bird brooch of rhodium plate base metal. The wings are ornamented with white opal and blue faux chalcedony molded and engraved glass vari size fruit salad stones. The body of the wings of crystal rhinestone pave and baguettes. The long thin tail feathers of faux emerald baguettes with faux ruby cabochon eye and beak.
The birds breast has small outline of complementing faux emerald baguettes.
Considered one of the finest and most collectible designs ever created by Alfred Phillipe of Trifari. 1941.
Excellent condition.
