About the Item

This stunning, fancy antique brooch/pendant was crafted from solid 14k yellow gold during the Edwardian era. The center of the snowflake design features a gorgeous and truly characteristic GIA certified, old mine cut diamond multi-prong set at its center weighing 1.19 carats. The entire piece is drenched with old cut diamonds that graduated from 10 large old mine cushion cuts to numerous European and single cuts, all neatly hand set in the solid platinum weighing approximately 5.30 carats in total. These diamonds are very fine quality stones and truly reflect incredible brilliance and shimmer throughout the snowflake design. This piece was designed and crafted by Kirkpatrick. It can be worn as a brooch that will be secured by the pin and rotating closure which can be removed so it is then worn as a pendant by sliding it on a chain of your choice through the foldable bail that's assembled on its back. Please note that if you wish the wear this piece as a pendant, a jump ring needs to be added to the foldable bail which we can do upon request.
