Mid-Century Persian Turquoise Heart Bow Ribbon Locket Brooch/Pendant Yellow Gold
About the Item
Mid-Century Persian turquoise heart and bow convertible locket brooch in 19.2kt yellow gold and silver, Portugal. This romantic jewel of Victorian inspiration is pavé-set throughout with circular Persian turquoise cabochons of an incredible sky-blue hue. Perfect for storing photographs or small keepsakes inside. This slightly convex locket hangs from a stunning bow-shaped surmount which is similarly decorated with perfectly match turquoise cabochons and fitted to reverse with a pin and roller clasp brooch fitting. The locket can be removed from the ribbon brooch surmount and worn as a pendant.
Lisbon hallmark "dog head" (used 1938-1984) for 19.2kt (800/1,000) gold and 833 silver; Lisbon hallmark "cat" (used 1938-1984) for 19.2kt (800/1,000) gold; indistinct maker's mark. Dimensions: 5.0 x 3.3 cm. Gross weight: 20.16g.
