A stunning 4.35 carat peridot, 2.56 carat emerald and sapphire, seed pearl and 18 karat yellow gold brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique gemstone brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The brooch is ornamented with a feature 4.35Ct oval mixed cut peridot, bezel set in subtle relief to the centre of the design. The peridot is encircled by a total of sixteen 3.5mm seed pearls. Sixteen individual kite shaped settings emanate from the central arrangement. The kite shaped settings are embellished with four emeralds, four pink sapphires and eight yellow sapphires, in a combination of pear cuts, old mine cuts and Old European cuts. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp, and benefits from the additional security of a fine link safety chain. The brooch also has an attachment to which a jump ring may be attached if so desired, the brooch fastening may also be unscrewed to allow this versatile brooch to be worn as a pendant. This Victorian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold. The brooch is supplied with two independent diamond grading report cards.
