A stunning, fine and impressive vintage 1.16 carat diamond and 0.16 carat ruby, 18 karat yellow gold, 18 karat white gold set bird brooch; part of our diverse gemstone jewellery collections. This fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with 18k white gold settings. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a perched bird. The body of the bird is embellished with impressive scalloped white gold settings accented with twenty-four pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, replicating the details of the wings. The bird's head feature further pavé set Dutch cut diamonds to the crest, in addition a round faceted cut ruby representing the eye. The multi-stranded, scrolling tail feathers incorporate a curvilinear white gold setting embellished with eight Dutch cut diamonds and a tapering array of mixed cut rubies, completing the design. A stunning Victorian 0.59 carat ruby and 0.08 carat diamond, 22 karat yellow gold and silver set 'snake' brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections This stunning, fine and impressive Victorian brooch has been crafted in 22k yellow gold with a silver setting. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a snake, twisted and entwined around itself. The head of the snake is ornamented with a feature 22k yellow gold bezel set cushion cut ruby. A further five graduated 22k yellow gold pavé set round cut rubies graduate the back of the snake's head. A total of sixteen pavé set Dutch cut diamonds embellish the silver set snakes head.
