Victorian 1.25 Carat Ruby and Diamond Brooch, circa 1880s
About the Item
Five rubies are surrounded by rose cut diamonds in this Victorian brooch. The rubies are old cut, and are a slightly purplish red. Each ruby is 0.25 carat. Two diamond studded swirls surround the rubies, containing 0.10 carat of rose cut diamonds. The brooch is made of 15 carat rose gold and silver, and was handmade in the 1880s.
