Victorian hand glove stick pin. Very interesting and rare sick pin, created in England during the Victorian period, back in the 1880. It was crafted in the shape of a hand glove in solid yellow gold of 18 karats whit is holding a rose cut diamond. During the Victorian era, the gloves were often seen as a symbol of a woman's purity, painting and literature sometimes used them to define the moral character of protagonists. Diamond: Mount in a basket setting, with 1 bold round rose cut diamond with an approximate weight of 0.75 carat, fancy Yellow Y/Z color, VS/SI clarity. Diamond: Mounin a bezel setting, with 1 round rose cut diamond of 0.12 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity Weight: 3.40 Grams, (2.18 Dwt). Measurements: 80 mm by 6.5 mm (3.15 x 0.26 Inches). Hallmarks: No marks, electronically tested for 18 karats and inscribed with the inventory numbers, "7382". The Victorian This era is one of the most influenced and influential periods of antique jewelry. This period is defined by the British monarch, in this case, Alexandrina Victoria, the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, as well as the Empress of India, years 1837-1901.
