Deakin & Francis Shark Cufflinks in 18 Karat White Gold with Diamond Eyes
About the Item
For days when you're swimming with sharks, these brilliant cufflinks feature a beautifully designed shark with a moveable head and tail, backed with a surfboard with a chunk bitten out of it.
Rendered in a very substantial 25.87 grams of solid, brushed 18K white gold, the sharks have diamond eyes and (as would be expected) sharp teeth.
The details are outstanding: the color and texture of the sharks' skin is sublime, and you can even make out teeth marks in the surfboards.
Deakin & Francis have been making cufflinks and other jewelry since 1786. Today this family-run business is renowned for beautiful and witty cufflink designs of the highest quality.
Sharks measure 32.7 mm x 12.2 mm; surfboards measure 19.4 mm x 6.9 mm. Besides bearing the Deakin & Francis maker's mark, these cufflinks have marks for the Birmingham Assay Office and "750" indicating 18K gold.
