These stunning sterling silver coin cufflinks has been designed to treasure forever!
Part of the limited edition 230 capsule collection, these cufflinks have been created to celebrate the impressive 230th anniversary of Deakin & Francis and are one of six unique designs.
Replicating old coins, the cufflinks are a fond reminder of the brands heritage and have been inspired by the Deakin & Francis family folklore tale of a ferocious pirate attack in which a brave Deakin relative fought off the pirates and saved the day. His heroic actions were rewarded with the granting of the Deakin & Francis crest - a cherished symbol still in use today.
With a striking gold plated finish, these coin cufflinks replicate the treasure the pirates were hunting for and this design features the Deakin & Francis building. Based in Regents place, within the heart of Birmingham's jewellery quarter, the firm have remained in the same building since 1786 and it even once had as its resident legendary James Watt - father of the Industrial Revolution! As with a real coin, the back of the cufflinks have also been considered and feature the commemorative 230 dates and small domed oval spring link fitting.
