In the late Georgian period through the era, intricate seed pearl jewelry was tradition for young women and brides. Here a pair of chandelier, seed pearl earrings, intricate and delicate, no longer need a wedding to brighten a woman's face, be she young or a good way on in age. Natural seed pearls represented purity. They were woven with horse hair or strong silk, layer upon layer on to a backing of mother of pearl that had been drilled to the specific design form. The pearls in these earrings have maintained their luster. Small flowers of pearls are joined by foiled citrines to bring sunshine on a cloudy day. Light on the ear, Joyousl to the eye .
