A stunning, fine and impressive pair of antique 9.15 carat amethyst and 21 karat yellow gold chandelier style earrings; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections These stunning, fine and impressive antique earrings have been crafted in 21k yellow gold. Each of the impressive Victorian earrings features a stunning eight claw set oval faceted cut amethyst, to the upper portion of the design. The impressive earrings each feature a further three stunning oval faceted cut claw set sapphires, suspended and articulated from the yellow gold chandelier style setting. The chandelier arms conjoin and articulate from the apex of the design via a ring loop to the reverse. The yellow gold settings are embellished with ball motifs and millegrain decoration, encompassed the gemstone settings and the surface of the chandelier supports. These impressive Victorian amethyst earrings, for pierced ears, secure with a hinged lever back fastening to the reverse of the apex of the design. These Victorian amethyst earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 21 karat gold; this indicates the high quality of the piece.
