Donald Stannard Enamel & Crystal Rhinestone Earrings, 1980's

About the Item

Donald Stannard served as an assistant to Kenneth Jay Lane in the 1960's until 1972 when he started his own line of stylish costume jewelry. His creations feature bold designs with a good dose of glamorous accents. This 1980's pair of clip on earrings are a striking combination of creamy white enamel bands flanked by sparkling crystal rhinestones. The rhinestones are set in a silver metal though the base of the earrings are a gold gilt metal. They have a chic and streamlined look that is reminiscent of art deco revival styles. Signed at the back of each earring. CONDITION Good vintage condition. No original packaging. MEASUREMENTS Each earring measures 1.25" tall x 1.25" wide x .75" deep including the clip on hardware.
