Italian Mid Century Art Glass Vintage Chandelier Clip Earrings

About the Item

A truly wonderful pair of Hand Made Italian earrings with marbled art glass cascades and dating from the late 1950s early 1960s. The glass in these Italian earrings is simply amazing with fabulous swirls, individual shaping of each hand made bead and the clever creation of color spectrum. I would say these Italian earrings are incredibly unusual and most likely made in Venice or Milan and possibly attributable to early Coppola e Toppo due to the stamps of 'Made' and 'Italy' - also seen on their early pieces. An excellent example of post war, high end, glass jewellery from the renowned Italian glass Costume Jewellery makers. All in all a very unusual, eye catching and beautiful Italian costume jewellery creation. These Italian earrings are set in silver-tone base metal and are stamped 'Made' and 'Italy'. The earrings are in excellent vintage condition being 50-60 years old and measure approx 6cm long by nearly 4cm wide at the widest point of the cascade. A very unusual and beautifully elegant pair of earrings that would certainly grab attention with their amazing color combination and beautifully designed, unique, hand made Italian Glass.
