Contemporary Petite Dangle Pearl Earrings in Sterling Silver
About the Item
From the Orbit collections - the Petite Spiral Dangle Earrings are a contemporary classic earring. They are like little luminous planets with rings. Dangling 1.5" from the top of the ear wire, the earrings almost look like they are floating next to your face. They are a little hip, a little elegant, lightweight and fun. Wear them for almost every occasion (except something really fancy). These are a non traditional pearl earring that is are DEFINITELY not your grandma's pearls.
These are made with slow tarnish sterling silver spirals, a 20 gauge ear wire and a lustrous 5.25mm white Akoya pearl.
The silver double-spiral element is just over 1/2" tall by 1/2" wide. And because of the way it is made, the spirals move. Fun, right??! ! The curved sides are satin finished and the edges have a high polish.
These earrings are hand finished and fabricated. Standard for these is a white Akoya pearl but they can be made with a peacock, round Akoya pearl. There are many ways to customize these earrings if you want something even more unique - including making them in gold and adding diamonds. Please inquire.

Martha Seely Design is a small design studio that creates one-of-a-kind and custom crafted fine production jewelry. The jewelry lines from Martha Seely reflect a personal vision and a clean, modern perspective. Her studio offers seven collections, each representing the incredible universe in which we live. The jewelry is designed in the USA and artisan-made, using some of the world’s most beautiful jewels and pearls. The manufacturing is ethical, the metals recycled and stones conflict-free. Before becoming a jewelry designer, Martha spent many years as a costume designer and wardrobe stylist for theater, film, and television. She earned her MFA in Costume Design from Carnegie Mellon University. After years of creating clothes for commercials, television shows, and independent movies, she wanted to express herself, designing for no other reason than to create something beautiful to wear. She turned her talents to accessories, something more intimate than outerwear. This time, her unique designs are from the heart. This time, her unique designs were from the heart, not just for a commercial project. Her work uses the oldest traditions of jewelry-making combined with the newest technologies (computer-aided design) to create her line of chic, sophisticated and wearable jewelry.
