Alberian and Aulde’s jewelry speaks to the women who wear it. Their work is designed to the body, revealing its beauty and style expressly when worn. Subtle sculptural contour and precisely placed gemstones create an effect that defies convention and captivates the moment. Mary Aulde and Warren Alberian met while studying Fine Art at the Cooper Union School of Art in N.Y.C. and have been collaborating for over three decades. Upon completion of their degrees Mary moved to Berlin and then London. During an extensive stay in Asia Warren met royal jewelers in New Delhi, India who introduced him to rose cut diamonds which immediately fascinated him with their feel of authenticity and unique play of light; at the time they were all but unknown in contemporary design use. Envisioning these fascinating gems as the basis for artwork Warren was inspired to contact Mary who he convinced to join him, initiating their longstanding partnership. Through many years of experimentation and discovery a lucid aesthetic crystallized which is well represented here today. The pair are also well adept at custom creating unique pieces for their clientele to cherish that can only be described as modern day heirlooms.
