Vintage Silver Sculptural Earrings by Sigurd Persson made 1964

About the Item

These vintage silver earrings are built around movement, balance and sculptural form. Suspended from a silver bar hangs a sculptural pendant formed from curved silver bands that gradually decrease in size towards the base, creating a bold rounded shape with an almost kinetic feel. The polished silver catches the light from different angles as the earrings move, giving the construction a lively expression without feeling heavy. The ear construction is formed as an open curved wire that follows the contour of the ear and ends in polished silver spheres, creating a clean architectural line. The wire can be gently adjusted for the wearer. old, sculptural and impossible to ignore, they move with the wearer and catch the eye from every angle. The kind of earrings worn when blending in is not the plan — expressive, original, and full of personality. These unique earrings were part of Sigurd Perssons earring exhibition at Nordiska Kompaniet in Stockholm 1964.
