1950s 1.46 Carat Diamond and Platinum Drop Earrings

About the Item

An impressive pair of vintage 1950's 1.46 carat diamond and platinum drop style earrings; part of our diverse diamond jewellery and estate jewelry collections. These fine and impressive diamond drop earrings have been crafted in platinum. Each earring features a modern brilliant round cut diamond, displayed in relief within a fluted setting. Each feature diamond is suspended from an articulated linear drop ornamented with a further three individually collet set modern brilliant round cut diamonds. A second fluted claw set modern brilliant round cut diamond is set to the upper border of the linear drop. The earrings secure to the reverse of the upper diamond setting with a post and butterfly style fastening. The posts are hallmarked with the platinum fineness marks (PT950). This impressive pair of diamond drop earrings is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates in addition to an independent diamond grading report cart for the supporting stones. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
