A pair of early 20th-century diamond-set hoop drop earrings, each earring consisting a graduated pierced hoop set with old brilliant-cut diamonds suspended from six diamonds and an old brilliant-cut diamond top, estimated to weigh a total of 2 carats, millegrain-set to a platinum mount with post and hinged clip fittings, circa 1920, later hallmarked platinum London, measuring approximately 4 x 2.4cm, gross weight 9.55 grams.
A pair of early 20th-century diamond-set earrings in very good condition.
These elegant diamond earrings come from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. These earrings feature a sophisticated openwork design of a dangling hoop suspended from a line of diamonds. The hoop is set with an array of lively stones that scintillate beautifully. These lovely earrings would add sophistication to a casual outfit and would equally complement a more formal ensemble.
