This contemporary multi gemstone asymmetrical 18 karat yellow gold dangle earrings, combine Amethyst, Yellow and blue Topaz and Garnet on an unexpected geometrical way. The main focus of these earrings is the Amethysts. The designers wanted to emphasize the cabochon cut and purple color, while at the same time adding some lightness and playfulness, by complementing with the additional stones and crafting its parts independent so they become mobile. The design and the amethyst’s outstanding purple color confer a very sophisticated look to these dangle earrings. These earrings belong to the “Candy- Candy” TORRUBIA & TORRUBIA color gemstone collection. The designers wanted to elaborate a whole collection that could play with Birthstones, Crystal healing and Chromotherapy. The collection can be personalized in order to fulfill the client’s wishes based on a particular birthstone, crystal healing or chromotherapy need. During college, she began her formal jewelry training at the family workshop. Due to her immediate success, she launched “Amaia Torrrubia”. In 2009, Yolanda proposed to join forces and launch a Sustainable Designer Fine Jewelry line, TORRUBIA & TORRUBIA. Amaia is currently the Director of the San Sebastián Flagship/Workshop and serves as Designer/Jeweler of the brand. Yolanda received a J.D and Masters of Arts Administration degree in Spain. Her PhD dissertation in arts and law, led her to New York where she graduated from Columbia University Law School with honors as a Burton Fellow Scholar. Upon graduating, Yolanda worked with prominent fashion lawyers and designers. Currently, Yolanda lives in New York serving as the Creative Director of TORRUBIA & TORRUBIA.
