The Fig stud earrings in 14 karat yellow gold belong to a collection that was featured in a published issue of Harper's Bazaar UA editorial. These earrings were also chosen by actress Anne Ratte-Polle to be worn on the red carpet of the 64th Berlinale Film Festival.
The earrings feature unique hand-made sculptures of frosted quartz fruits that resemble the sweetest southern figs, which grow on the elegant twigs of the fig tree with long needles and leaves. Figs usually have a tender green-beige tone when they are green, but later they turn to rose and a dusty dark purple-black when exposed to the sun. This model is also available with frosted dark amethysts and rose quartzes.
The elegant, accurate needles on the earrings represent the traditional calligraphy principle of "lines and spots" and symbolize the sharp lines of order and accuracy, making them a perfect accent for any outfit.
The Fig collection is designed by oil painter Polya Medvedeva from Berlin. These stud earrings offer a contemporary design and add an unusual art attitude to any look. The frosted figs are open to the light and look exquisite.
