This is a fabulous and very rare enamel and marcasite Art Deco Pink Flamingo Bird in a flower garden brooch with a gorgeous flamingo and exquisite flowers decorated with varied hues of pink, blue and green enamel and marcasites set in Sterling Silver. The magnificent pieces date to the 1920s.
The wonderful open work design of the brooch is just fabulous. The three dimensional flower garden is very rare.
The enamel work is of the highest quality and the design is Art Deco nature inspired imagery at its best. The brooch is hallmarked Sterling.
The brooch is 1 7/8 inches (47mm) wide by 1 3/4 inches (40mm) tall.
The may be a small bit of enamel loss at the curve of the flamingo's neck.
