French Arts and Crafts Silver Belt, Articulated Links with Chatelaine Ring
This is a stunning, piece, the belt is composed of 27, 3.5cm x 2.5cm repousse links joined to an Oval Buckle with a central vertical bar. The detail is exquisite, 7 of the links have a centre hole to allow adjustment of the buckle, there is an embossed loop to hold the belt neatly and this is stopped by a decorative link further along the belt, there is also a ring to hang a chatelaine from.
The belt is in excellent condition, it has been professionally polished and it has been tested and is a minimum of 925 grade continental solid silver, it weighs 6.67oz
