About the Item

One of a Kind Necklace hand-fabricated by renowned jewelry maker Atelier Zobel (Peter Schmid) featuring shimmering faceted black diamonds and tourmalinated quartz gemstones accented with hand-fabricated 22k gold elements and finished with handmade faceted oxidized sterling silver beads and a handmade oxidized silver 'S' clasp. 17 inches. Stamped and Hallmarked. About the Maker - Atelier Zobel has stood as a byword for extraordinary jewelry of timeless beauty for more than 45 years. Peter Schmid was born and raised in the South of Germany, completing his training as a goldsmith and jewelry designer in 1995. After working with the one whose work inspired him, Michael Zobel for more than ten years, Schmid took over the studio in 2005. Sculpted in precious metals Peter reveals the natural dialogue between the crystalline structures of the gemstone and their expression in avant-garde art. These conversations, initially sketched out with a 6B pencil, evolve into the one-of-a-kind collection that is masterly crafted in our studio in Konstanz, Germany. “When I think of beauty, I think of sophistication.
