Large Scale Baltic Amber and Gold Bead Necklace
About the Item
Made in Germany in the late 20th Century, this large 14K Yellow Gold and
Baltic Amber ovoid bead necklace makes a strong statement. The largest Amber
bead in the center measures 2 1/16 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. On either
side of the center Amber bead is one large, 14k gold bead measuring 1 11/16
inches long by 1 inch wide.
The remaining 12 Amber beads graduate down in size to 7/8 inch long in the
back by the clasp. The last four beads adjacent to the clasp are semi baroque
Amber beads. Overall length is 22 1/4 inches. The unique 14k gold sliding clasp
is marked OBERSTADT 585 and is signed by the artist.
