Smokey Quartz Faceted Rondels Necklace with Silver Magnetic Clasp
About the Item
The faceted Smokey Quartz rondels in this necklace vary slightly in color and bring life into this stone. Measuring 6.5-7mm in circumference and faceted on the end of the rondels, the beads are connected with a silver magnetic clasp. The necklace is strung on silk thread and therefore when operating the clasp, it is advisable to pull from the actual ball and gently separate the two ends.
It is believed that the Smokey Quartz in this necklace stems from Scotland, where it is recognized as the countries national gem. "In Celtic cultures, Smoky Quartz was sacred to the Druids. This stone represented the dark power of the Earth gods and goddesses. It was also associated with the ancient Greek goddess, Hecate, the goddess of magic."
