About the Item

This parure (set) was created by Stanley Hagler and features the classic detailing and styling of his company. Produced in the early 1980s, this necklace and earrings are in immaculate condition and reflective of exceptional craftsmanship. Condition Report: Excellent The Details... This parure includes a necklace and clip on earrings. They are detailed with floral designs fashioned from amber and cream glass beads and round and navette rhinestones in oranges and browns. All of the rhinestones are multi-faceted and claw set. The stones and beads are all hand-wired onto and gilt metal filigree panel and gilt metal filigree is also used to replicate flower petals and as bead cappings. The necklace fastens with a gilt metal box clasp. All of the pieces are signed - 'STANLEY HAGLER N.Y.C.' is stamped into an oval panel on the reverse of each earring and the back of the central necklace motif. The necklace measures 48cm in length and the earrings are 6cm x 3.75cm. All of our clip earrings are provided with removable pads for additional comfort, should you require it. A Short History... This parure illustrates the enduring appeal of Stanley Hagler's designs. At first glimpse, due to its colour scheme and materials, one might think that this parure dates from the 1960s. It is, actually, from the 1980s. We can determine this from the signature panel on the pieces. His beaded and wired floral pieces were so popular that he continued to make this style of jewellery throughout his lifetime. Wear it With...
