About the Item
Art Nouveau Aquamarine ivy necklace in platinum and 18 karat white gold. Necklace from the Art Nouveau period, composed of a platinum chain with a double lobster clasp, holding a pendant formed of three rigid ivy branches that rest on the upper neck. In the center, the pendant is adorned with a round aquamarine of 0.45 ct. The delicacy of the branches and curled leaves recalls the style of jeweler René Foy, active in France during the Art Nouveau period. Art Nouveau necklace, circa 1900, France.
