This is the larger forty mm Pi pendant-necklace, carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 24 karats (.999/.999 Au) with a delicate hammered finish. The Pi figure is suspended in an adjustable silk cord. The design of this piece was originally inspired by an 11th century Mayan gold disc, found in the Yucatan peninsula, and is actually exhibited at the Museo Nacional De Antropologia in Mexico.
