This botanical Pine contemporary pendant necklace in silver has been featured in Vogue UA and Another magazine UK. This piece can be personally signed.
The inspiration of a pine collection takes it roots in Japanese ink painting, where pines silhouettes look especially elegant. Traditionally pine symbolised the longevity and strong relationships of two, as each pine needle consists of two needles, which are growing from the one bud. Necklace has a contrast and combination of dark and bright shining parts of silver.

This necklace was designed by the oil painter Polya Medvedeva in 2010 as a 'lines and spots' play and balance between 'chaos and order', which is one of the principles of Asian ink calligraphy.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
