Antique Victorian Gold & Gemstone Figural Snake Choker Necklace
About the Item
A fine Victorian gold snake choker necklace.
With smooth oval turquoise cabochons bezel set on top of snake head, round smooth garnet cabochons for the eyes, and a faceted pear shape emerald prong set in gold that dangles from the mouth.
The Venetian box chain has a decorative star cut-out on each link and a box clasp for secure closure.
Simply an absolutely stunning Victorian snake choker!

The emerald pendant appears to be a replacement. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
