Important Haute Couture Pine Cone Necklace.Victorian in inspiration. and made by Jean Schlumberger for Schiaparelli. "Schiaparelli is above all the dressmaker of eccentricity. Jean Cocteau. 1937 Important museum quality Art Historical necklace by Jean Schlumberger for Schiaparelli Summer 1939. Gilded metal, plastic and silk velvet. This iconic necklace was shown with slim ladylike dresses with bustle draped backs for evening for the summer collection of 1939 .Presented February 6,1939. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.
