Vintage Diamante Emerald Shape With Purple Choker Circa 1980s. This piece is so special. It has 8 pieces (a lucky number) of the purple glass that are surrounded by prong set diamante of round set stones. they have on either side a few rows of diamante that wrap around he neck to anchor it behind you. The color is also see through so more of a color hat will play well with others and go with many things. It is so well made.
There is a hook so that it can be worn from 14.25"-17" L but there are links of 2.75 " that could be taken out so the necklace could be made much smaller if you so desire and the hook could be placed inward easily. An easy fix that would take a jeweler 5 seconds.
I once read that costume jewelry is for people with taste and not for pretending to be what you're not.

Twenty six brilliant clear crystal stones surround the centerpiece of green poured Gripoix Paris Glass surmounted by a red Gripoix Paris Glass cabochon, ringed by an intricate gold-plated laurel wreath. The medallion clasp is gloriously attached to the pearl strands by rectangular "baguettes" each with six clear crystal stones.
Vintage 1980s. Stamped 'CHANEL, MADE IN FRANCE' on the back of medallion. Length is 15.25 inches overall. The octagonal medallion measures 1.50 inches H. x 1.50 inches W.
