About the Item
This Plum Blossom drop pendant necklace is made with 18 karat yellow gold and features a removable cabochon amethyst drop encrusted with 3 round diamonds. The necklace has been featured in Vogue UA reviews, and we take pride in using top-quality natural diamonds (VS, F-G) sourced from a German gems company with over a century of experience.
The unique petal design of the pendant's surface adds extra highlights to the gold, making it sparkle and catch the light beautifully. The diamonds enhance this effect, adding delicate blinks to the overall design.
Each pendant necklace is custom hand made, and you can contact the artist to request this piece in white or rose gold, with your choice of gemstone, such as garnet, rose or chocolate quartz, amethyst or topaz. This is a limited edition jewellery piece from the artist's collection, designed by a painter from Berlin, Polya Medvedeva.
The plum flowers symbolise the energy of life, and the plum trees are one of the earliest to bloom, even in the end of winter, making this pendant necklace a perfect symbol of vitality and renewal.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
