About the Item

A stunning Victorian 13.30 carat amethyst and 21 carat yellow gold pendant with a 9 carat yellow gold belcher chain; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections. This exceptional, fine and impressive Victorian amethyst pendant has been crafted in 21 ct yellow gold with a 9 ct yellow gold chain. The pierced decorated, ornate chased decorated frame is ornamented with a stunning feature claw/prong set pear cut 13.30 ct amethyst. The amethyst is surrounded by an intricate floriated design, embellished with three dimensional bud and leaf motifs. Three round cabochon cut amethysts ornament the bods that emanate from the design. The pendant suspends from a 9 ct yellow gold belcher chain via an integrated ring loop to a pierced decorated design from the upper border of the design. The chain secures with a spring loaded bolt ring fastening. This exceptional pendant and chain has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 21 ct and 9 ct yellow gold. The pendant is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
