A yellow gold and platinum necklace composed of a horizontal openwork oval pendant with a central urn decorated in stripes of green plique-a-jour enamel and bordered with single rows of seventeen round rose cut diamonds in platinum topped gold millegrain bead settings with an approximate total weight of 0.17 carats, above a geometric scrolled ornament in white enamel and surrounded by flowers and foliate swags, all set with six round old cut diamonds in platinum topped gold millegrain collet settings with an approximate total weight of 0.50 carats, also with a pearl suspended from the bottommost point, all suspended from two gold cable chains set with four pearls and joined at the top with a chased trilobite bow, that suspended from a gold cable chain with circular spring clasp, in a fitted brown leather box marked ‘BEAUMONT & CIE/ JOAILLIERS/ 17, RUE DE LA REPUBLIQUE/ LYON’, convertable to a brooch, with original tools and brooch mount.
