About the Item
An incredible and unique piece of jewellery by the multi-award winning jeweller Alessio Boschi.
The piece is grain set with forty eight 1.25mm brilliant cut pink sapphires (0.4ct total), claw set with twenty one 1.25-2mm brilliant cut apatites (0.5ct total), eleven 2.5mm (0.06ct) brilliant cut, good make G/H colour VS/SI clarity diamonds, one 3.00mm (0.10ct) brilliant cut, good make G/H Colour VS/SI clarity diamond, bead set with four hundred and forty two 1-1.5mm brilliant cut good blue ceylon type sapphires (3.4ct total), thirty nine 1mm (0.005ct) brilliant cut, good make G/H colour VS/SI clarity diamonds on articulated tentacles with three 18.00mm – 24.00mm natural keshi pearls.
The top setting contains one 32.72mm x 16.30mm x 15.23 natural south sea keshi pearl weighing 6.74 grams.
The pendant is entirely detachable and can be worn as a brooch which has a double pin to the rear and tube style catch.
This piece was designed by Alessio Boschi during his collaboration with south sea pearl distributor Autore. Boschi is probably most famous for carving the worlds largest sapphire, the Millennium Sapphire.
