For a symbol so historically strong and one that conveys many meanings, it is unusal that we have not found this particular necklace over the many years of treasure hunting. The pastes are all highly reflective. The size and proportion are
perfect. This is a Victorian jewel that feels good on and crosses age and time lines.
The chain can come along but is not antique.
Symbolic meanings of the acorn through time have been fertility, love, loyalty, power, luck and strength. Lovers would place two acorns in a bols of water. If they
came together, the lovers would marry. Don't try with with an antique jewel, but feel free to gather acorns in the fall. Condition is excellent
