This one-of-a-kind pendant necklace is hand-fabricated by acclaimed jewelry maker Monica Marcella in rich, matte-finished 18k yellow gold. At its center is a mesmerizing round brookite-in-quartz cabochon, naturally displaying a striking starburst formation of dark mineral inclusions suspended within clear quartz. Each radiating inclusion is entirely unique, creating a dramatic and organic pattern that makes this piece truly singular. The stone is elegantly bezel-set in Monica Marcella’s signature satin-finished 18k gold, allowing the extraordinary natural formation to take center stage. About the Maker - Monica Marcella began working with jewelry at a very young age, crafting beaded necklaces at the dining room table with her grandmother. Always talking about color combinations, pattern, and feel, Monica’s grandmother became her most important source of inspiration and critical insight. After earning a BFA and MFA in metalsmithing and jewelry design, Monica returned home to New York with a vision - handcrafting future heirlooms, all of which would honor the generosity, love, and legacy that connected her with jewels and gemstones from the very beginning. Now an avid gemstone connoisseur, each of her handpicked jewels is ethically-sourced from all around the world.
