It features a pentagonal platinum pendant with scalloped sides and intricate filigree work surrounding a black onyx center with a fine European cut diamond embedded in the center. The onyx and diamond pendant attaches via a circular fitting to an ovoid embellishment hanging from a quintessentially Art Deco sculptural platinum and diamond crown form. A fine and impressive antique 1.05 Carat onyx and 0.35 Carat diamond, platinum pendant; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in platinum. The drop style pendant displays a feature bezel set Old European cut diamond, encircled by a torus shaped, faceted onyx segmented into twelve sections. The outer circumference of the feature cluster design is encircled with a paralleling platinum border flanking a delicate undulating band. The cluster is displayed to the lower border of a linear drop comprised of two faceted onyx panels divided by an individually bezel set Old European cut diamond. The pendant suspends from a contemporary 18k white gold trace chain via an integrated bifurcating bale to the upper border of the design, and secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. This impressive pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
