About the Item
A Victorian half pearl and diamond necklace, the starburst pendant centrally-set with a pearl surrounded by eight old European-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 0.6 carats in total, surrounded by eight arrows set with pearls, with pearl-set quatrefoil decorations in between, terminating to a seed pearl, to a detachable pendant loop in the form of a trefoil, suspended by a necklace of five floral half-pearl set graduating clusters with leaf shape links in between leading to a half-pearl set chain with concealed box push clasp, all mounted in yellow gold mount tested as 15ct, measuring approximately 43cm long, the pendant measuring approximately 5x3.5cm, circa 1880, gross weight 38.8 grams.
