Vintage Estate Layered Beaded Necklace by Angela Caputi

A fabulous and extraordinary layered beaded necklace, bold both in size and design. Its 10 voluptuous layers are strung with Italian-made plastic beads in a stunning soft sangria nuance. Five geometric flowers emerge in-between them, accented by rhinestone rondelles for a subtle touch of sparkle. The dynamic shapes and unusual colour of this beaded necklace create strong visual interest, ensuring this one-of-a-kind showstopper never goes unnoticed. This perfectly preserved statement piece was sourced from the estate of a remarkable American fashion designer and illustrator and comes in its original pouch. The large ovoid snap clasp is stamped Fiocchi Italy and is the signature clasp used by world-renowned Italian artist Angela Caputi. A celebrated and award-winning costume jewellery designer, Caputi has been creating unsigned jewellery since 1975 exclusively from Italian plastic or resin combined with other synthetic materials.
