A spectacular garnet necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning piece is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and features six garnet cabochons hanging in a festoon style. The deep reddish-purple garnets are particularly large in size and rest in open back settings connected by multiple chains, balancing the necklace's femininity with a bold statement. The stones' natural color is enhanced by the open setting, pairing perfectly against the rich gold background. The necklace fastens securely in the back with a delicately engraved barrel clasp. The festoon style piece rests beautifully at the neckline, and would be a fantastic addition to any Victorian collection! The necklace measures approximately 15" in total length.
