About the Item
This contemporary Fig pendant necklace is crafted from 14 karat yellow gold and features a vivid rose onyx. The collection has been featured in Vogue UA and Harper's Bazaar UA editorials.
The pendant is a hand-sculpted representation of a sweet southern fig, complete with elegant twigs, long needles, and picturesque leaves. The rose onyx captures the tender green or rose tones of a fig fruit, which later matures into a dusty dark purple black as it ripens under the sun.
The pendant's elegant and accurate needle references the traditional calligraphy principle of "lines and spots". The Fig collection is designed by oil painter Polya Medvedeva.

Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
