Eighteen Karat Rose Gold Art Deco Style Pendant Necklace with Amethyst
About the Item
This art deco style pendant necklace is made of 18 karat rose gold and features a large 15x15x8 mm grown amethyst that was specially cut for the artist. It is part of the Ink collection, which has been featured in Harper's Bazaar and Vogue UA. The unique shape of the gem allows it to catch the light from all angles, and the pendant sits comfortably against the skin.
The Ink collection is designed by Berlin-based oil painter and jewellery designer, Polya Medvedeva. Originally designed as a minimalist sculpture in gold with a cube quartz, the collection has since been expanded to include rings, earrings, bracelets, and pendant necklaces with different gemstones that have been specially cut for the artist.
In addition to amethyst, the pendant can also be ordered with rose, lemon, smoky or green quartz, as well as rock crystal or black morion.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
