Eighteen Karat Yellow Gold Art Deco Style Pendant Necklace with Smoky Quartz
About the Item
This art deco style pendant necklace is crafted from 18 karat yellow gold and features a large smoky quartz, measuring 15x15x8 mm in size and cut specially for the artist. It is part of the Ink collection, which has been featured in Harper's Bazaar and Vogue UA published issues.
The pendant's unique shape and open design allow for light to pass through, making it a perfect accessory for those interested in Ayurveda. Designed by oil painter and jewellery designer from Berlin, Polya Medvedeva, the Ink collection was originally a minimalist sculpture in gold with cube quartz. Over time, the sculpture has been transformed into pendant necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets with different gems, each cut especially for the artist.
The pendant necklace can be ordered in a variety of quartz colours including rose, lemon, smoky, and green, as well as rock crystal and black morion.

Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
