This is a wonderful original Edwardian - Art Deco pendant or charm with a stunning White Pearl surrounded by sparkling white Old Mine Cut Diamonds and set in Platinum atop 14 Karat Gold. The pendant dates to circa 1860-1920. The design of this delicate jewel is romantic and elegant. The combination of the beautiful white pearl with the antique diamonds in their wonderful open work design is exemplary jewelry making, so characteristic of the period. The Edwardian period is characterized by the classic triumverate of Diamonds, Platinum and Pearls and this is a stunning example of the jewels of the period. The diamonds are set in platinum. The gorgeous silvery white pearl is 4mm in diameter. The pendant hangs beautifully from the neck. With its exquisite details and beautiful gems it captures the eye and is perfect for everyday, for a dream wedding or the most glamorous affair. The pendant is 18 mm long including the bales. Without the bales it is 12mm long and 12mm wide. The pendant weighs 1.2 grams. The listing is only for the pendant. The chain is only shown for display.
